COMMENTS:

Cotter Floors where awarded the compettively tendered flooring package to headcontractor Harris HMC. The project was completed inside the operational Monash Medical Centre Clayton also during the initial Covid-19 stages.

This greatly affected the overall project logistically and put huge constraints on the timeline, given the hospitals urgent requirement of additional bed space.

The extended project team ourselves included where required to work in split shifts in order to reach handover as quickly as possibly.

Cotter Floors carried out preparation inclusive of diamond grinding, masonite hardboard underlay, internal waterproofing and cementitious floor coatings as well as resilient floor and wall vinyl installation.

The project was delivered to an extremely high standard, defect free which was to be proud of in the tough circumstances our installation team faced. Overall a challenging but rewarding project creating a space for patients to be treated for years to come.
